Every fridge or freezer needs a handy pack of minced lamb ready to whip out for a simple yet tasty dinner, whether shepherd’s pie, moussaka, burgers or meatballs. Better still, our mince comes from grass-fed lamb, ensuring a healthy, tasty meat, with just enough fat to ensure it remains moist and tender while cooking. Mince is an important member of our lamb family. We pick only the finest cuts of grass-fed lamb for our mince and each pack contains between 5-10% fat, so there’s plenty of meat for your money.

Cooking Instructions

Pour 1 tbsp of oil or butter into a frying pan and heat on a medium high temperature. Once the pan is hot, add the minced steak and fry for 5-6 minutes until the meat has browned. It is best to add the mince in small batches and not cover the surface of the pan completely. Adding too much meat will reduce the temperature of the pan and the meat may not brown. If you have a probe thermometer you want the core temperature to be 72 degrees.
