When time is of the essence but you don’t want to skimp on quality produce, minute steaks should be your first choice. As the name would suggest, just one minute’s cooking time on each side, in a hot frying or griddle pan, will give you the perfect medium rare steak. Served on fresh crusty bread with Dijon mustard and watercress, minute steaks are rich in flavour and are a healthy alternative to more traditional fast foods. With a thin layer of fat adding to the flavour, these grass fed steaks are hand trimmed to ensure exceptional quality and taste.

Cooking Instructions

As the name suggests, these steaks are quick to cook which makes them the ideal choice for a speedy sandwich or snack. To Pan-Fry: Add 2 tbsp of oil or a knob of butter to a frying pan or griddle and preheat on a medium high temperature. Brush the steaks lightly with oil and season with salt and pepper. Place the steaks in the pan and cook for a minute on each side. If you prefer your steak more on the rare side, then cook for less. If you have a meat thermometer then cook to 45 – 55°C for rare, 58 – 65°C for medium or 70 – 75°C for well done.
